High Performance Aeroplane Theory Course (HPA)
The HPA theory course is required for EASA PPL(A) and CPL(A) holders (who have not passed the ATPL written theory exams already) who wish to fly aeroplanes classed as High Performance, such as the turbine versions of the Piper PA46, TBM, PC12, Cessna Mustang, etc.

Aim of the course
The aim of the High Performance Aeroplane Theoretical Knowledge Course is to provide a pilot (without passed theoretical ATPL exam) with sufficient knowledge to enter a class or type rating course for an aeroplane that is defined by EASA as ‘High Performance’.
Course Structure
We use an online training course to cover the theoretical knowledge, which is then reinforced with a 6 hour instructor session.
After the instructor session, there will be a 40 question online test.
Course Details
Our flexible online learning tool allows you to work at your own pace. The instructor session can be timed and located to suit your schedule.
Every instructor has significant experience in high performance aircraft, so learning from that operational experience is a key element of foster safety.
As soon as the HPA course is completed, the course completion certificate is issued and the candidate can start the class or type rating course towards the desired rating.
